Differentiated Services
This chapter contains the Command Line Interface (CLI) commands used for the QOS
Differentiated Services (DiffServ) package.
The GSM7224 Layer 2 Managed Switch provides a simplified interface for enabling DiffServ
support. A single command is used to enable and disable this function:
config diffserv adminmode <enable/disable>
When enabled, the device inspects the DSCP of each packet to determine whether the packet
should receive preferential treatment. That is, the class of service given to the packet is determined
by the DSCP. When disabled, the DSCP is not used for determining the class of service given to
the packet.
The current status of the DiffServ function can be determined with the following command:
show diffserv info
