5. In the Network window, select HSPA Modem from the list and check that

the Account Name and Password are correct for your service provider (see

Figure 2).

6. Click Apply.

7. Click the Advanced button.

8. Update the APN ﬁ eld with your carrier’s APN value and click OK.

9. In the Network window, click Apply.

10. Click the Connect button to start a connection. Once the connection is

established, the Status changes to Connected.

11. Close the Network window. Your modem is ready to use.
